Clay Extruder for 3D Printing

A small project I built during a christmas break.
This is a first attempt at a way to deliver clay to an extruder on a printer. The extruder will have a motor and an archimedes type screw to force the clap the last part of the way, eventually being delivered from a needle tip. The extruder is coming soon once the last parts have arrived.
This project is a good example of the potential of 3d printing to combine digital design processes with other components to take advantage of the form and versatility of printing with the strengths of traditionally manufactured components.
